BAY ISLANDS COMMUNITY SERVICES
Bay Islands Community Services provide various services such as assistance of all sorts, specialist services, medical assistance, emergency assistance, parole and probation and also offers a wide range of activities for varying age groups which include dancing, bingo, craft, art, kids play, karate and fitness.They also have The Hut Youth Space which is free of charge.. Parents are also encouraged to join in on the activities to B.I.C.S was established in 1995 on Macleay Island, and in 1996 moved the main office to Russell Island. B.I.C.S is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity, partly funded by the Department of Communities. Staffing is mainly by volunteers, with one full time and 2 part time workers.
